CalCoast Cares Foundation

CalCoast Cares Foundation, a fund at the Southwestern College Foundation, rewards students who have completed and submitted a FAFSA application for the current academic year. Students must have completed a minimum of 12 units, be currently enrolled in a minimum of 9 units, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. The student must hold a current leadership role in an on-campus or community service organization or have completed a minimum of 25 documented hours of community service in the 6 months prior to applying. In addition, the student will be required to submit a 500 word essay on their experience in helping an individual, a group or the community.
