Juanita Rettinghaus Memorial Scholarship

Juanita Rettinghaus was a single mother who put herself through college while raising a young son. Her education allowed her to achieve her professional goals and set an example for her sons to follow. This scholarship will assist parents who are pursuing their own educational goals in order to improve the quality of life for their children.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5, have completed a minimum of 12 units at Southwestern College, and demonstrate financial need, which is determined by data on the student’s current FAFSA or Dream Act Application. Supplemental essay question required.
