San Diego Epiphyllum Society Scholarship

This scholarship supports students who have completed at least 24 units at SWC with a 2.5 or higher GPA pursuing any of the Horticulture Majors (with the exception of Golf & Sports Turf Management and Water Management & Irrigation Skills). Priority will be given to students who demonstrate financial need as determined by information on the FAFSA or Dream Act application and/or prior awardees who are completing their certification program. Winners agree to attend one of the Society’s monthly meetings, which are held on the second Tuesday of the month, starting at 7 pm, in room 101, at Casa del Prado, in Balboa Park, in San Diego. Applicants agree to share name and contact information with the donor.

The San Diego Epiphyllum Society is a non-profit organization with the purpose of encouraging the study of epiphyllums and their related species. SDES works to develop public support and facilitate an interchange of ideas on growing, displaying, and collecting epiphyllums.
