The SD 82nd Airborne Association Orville Roberts Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is intended to support registered full or part-time Southwestern College students who are members of the Veterans Student Organization and/or are receiving services from the Veterans Resource Center (to be verified with the VRC) and are actively participating in Community Service in veteran service organizations or veteran service agencies (verification letter required). Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA and supplemental essay required. Essay: Please write an essay describing the challenges faced by veterans as they pursue their educational goals. (Max 300 words)

One of the goals of the San Diego All Airborne Chapter of the 82nd Airborne Division Association is to make a difference in the lives of those around us, both in the Airborne community and in our local communities. We have a deep focus on the education and betterment of our local communities, achieved by providing scholarships to students in our local community.
