Stephen K. Bowlin Memorial Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship is to support students studying Fire Sciences at Southwestern College. Eligible students must have a declared major of Fire Science, and answer the following supplemental essay question: In 350- 500 words, please share with us what leadership and integrity looks like as a student and as a future professional in fire service. Please provide recent examples that illustrate how you have demonstrated these qualities and how do these qualities influence your approach to meeting the demands of school, problem solving, and the value of mentorship. Your personal essay should successfully demonstrate your commitment to approach public service and safety.
